The report from Care and Learning Alliance’s recent Community Asset Mapping project, carried out 2014/15, has recently been published. The purpose of CAM was to gather children’s views about their local communities and share this with interested parties in Highland. Over 150 primary age children in six areas in Highland were consulted.
The aim of the report is to ensure both existing and proposed aspects of community planning within the Highlands have been influenced by the views of children and to promote and share these views with agencies/stakeholders who have responsibility for provision, planning and policy making.
A Tool Kit has also been developed through consultation with children from across the Highlands both in Primary School and Care and Learning Alliance Out of School Settings.
You can download the report and toolkit from the Care and Learning website.
